Sophia Headband

In my version of the classic style headband, I choose to knit in double stockinette stitch. Here you knit back and forth, but the front and back both have the same appearance and your sides don’t curl up.

In this pattern you will also find the instructions for the same model but knitted in the round, in both a chunky (6 mm needles) version and a more delicate version for needles 3.5 mm. So: 3 patterns in 1 pattern!

Needles 6 mm OR 3.5 mm depending on the version you'll make

10 x 10 cm:

30 stitches x 38 rows in double stockinette (needles 6 mm)

15 stitches x 19 rows in stockinette stitch (needles 6 mm)

23 x stitches x 30 rows in stockinette stitch (needles 3.5 mm)

For needles nr. 6 mm:

Rico - Madly in love (50 gr - ca. 130 m): 1 skein

Alternative suggestion: Drops - Air (50 gr - ca. 150 m) (hold 2 strands together)

For needles nr. 3.5 mm:

1 strand of superfine merino type Sunday - Sandnes (50 gr - ca. 235 m) held together with 1 strand of LANG - cashmere dreams (25 gr - 290 m)

> 1 skein of both
