The Wintersoul Sweater is a beautifully crafted colourwork raglan featuring straight sleeves and a double-folded crew neck. Designed for a relaxed, oversized fit, the Wintersoul Sweater has a straight silhouette with no shaping in the body or sleeves. While the standard version has a slightly cropped length, the pattern includes two alternative length options to suit your style preference.

It is knitted seamlessly from the top down, with the neckline, hem, and cuffs worked in a 1x1 twisted rib stitch. Body and sleeves are knit in stockinette stitch with striking colourwork, and the edges are finished with an elegant Italian bind-off. The crew neck is worked by picking up stitches along the neckline and folding the ribbing inward for a clean, structured finish.

Needles
Needles
Circular needles 3, 4 & 5 mm / cable lengths 40, 60 and/or 80, 100 cm [US 2.5, 6 & 8 / cable length 16, 24, and/or 32, 40 inches].
IMPORTANT NOTE about needle sizes and stranded knitting: when you are working with 2 colours, you will probably need to go up a needle size to maintain the same gauge as the stockinette sections (using 1 colour). In this case, use needles 4 mm [US 6] for the upper part of the yoke in stockinette stitch and switch to needles 4.5 or 5 mm [US 7 or 8] for the rest of the sweater (using 2 colours). It is VERY important to make a swatch for both the stranded knitting and stockinette stitch before you start making the sweater (and block it) to see what works for you.
